Planter Chin

If you’ve not already realised, many of my photos are taken at Planter Chin! This is one of the most instagrammable cafes in Bangsar.
Although this list of best cafes in Bangsar is of no particular order, Planter Chin is one of my top cafes because it has such good coffee!
I usually get their hot latte (RM13/USD 2.95) and my recent favourite is the Biscoff Latte!

Besides they also serve some desserts (brownies, pancakes, sliced cakes) and they have a few mains to choose from (my favourite – Creamy Mushroom Carbonara, RM24/USD 5.45)

Not forgetting the variety of houseplants to purchase and their super friendly baristas which I enjoy talking to. Overall, this cafe is not only aesthetic but also calming!

Lisette’s Cafe & Bakery
Lisette’s is the first cafe I’ve ever been to in Bangsar.
This is definitely an instagrammable/aesthetic cafe – especially because of the famous flower background!

This cafe is known for their wide variety of pastries and cakes. I love coming here in the mornings to have coffee and a pastry for breakfast.
A few pastries i’ve tried and personally enjoyed:
- Mushroom Ricotta Puff (RM13/USD2.95)
- Chocolate Tart (RM16/ USD3.62)
- Peach Danish (RM8/USD 1.81)

They have a few pastries priced at RM8 (USD 1.81) which is quite affordable.
Also, if you want to go cafe hopping, Lissette and Planter Chin are neighbours!

PULP

Managed by Papa Palheta, Singapore – PULP is one of the best coffee places in Bangsar!
Their coffee price is pretty affordable too – RM13/USD2.95 seems to be the usual coffee price in Kuala Lumpur.

Ambience is important for me to enjoy my coffee with a book, blog or work from a cafe. PULP has a cozy interior, it used to be an old printing shop.
They still keep the printing/paper cutting table for people at (pic above!)
I had a hot latte and lemon meringue tart! Full menu here!

dUCk Cafe
One of my favourite cafes because it is a book cafe! dUCk is a beauty and fashion brand that has recently opened a cafe at Bangsar Village.
What is so unique about this Bangsar cafe? There’s many books for you to read (you can even take a book back with you and you don’t have to return it!).

But please, don’t abuse this free books policy!
There’s not really much mains in this cafe. However, there’s a wide variety of beverages and pastries.
Their dUCk latte art plus flower decor is very Instagrammable! Be sure to take some photos on your visit.

Sunbather Coffee
Looking for cafes in Bangsar South instead?
Sunbather Coffee is one of the best cafes in bangsar south and is super popular for its Japanese inspired meals and drinks!
Some of the raved about meals would be Japanese Bentos and Sandos.
They have quite a few unique coffee options! One of them – Osmanthus Latte. The large portion is huge and worth the price (RM13, USD2.95)

I love pairing my coffee with their Hojicha and Matcha madeleines.

Niko Neko
Not a coffee fan but would love a caffeine fix? Matcha might be your new best friend.
If you’re someone who is crazy over Matcha, this cafe might interest you. There’s no coffee or meals here. Everything here is Matcha and Hojicha related.

It’s truly a unique cafe and they also sell matcha powder, equipment and more so you can make your own drink at home!
Seating here is quite limited. Coming on a weekday would give you better chances of getting a seat.

Koffie Kraft
Koffie Kraft is a Dutch restaurant and cafe.
I don’t come here specifically for coffee. Most of the time i’m here for food. The chefs are definitely skilled. Food is so tasty, of quality. This is not just your regular “cafe standard” food.
They have a few meals that have bitterballen in them – their speciality.

Although I don’t visit much for coffee – they do have two blends to choose from (their special blend, Koffie Craft blend and Limburg blend)

Botanica + Co (Deli)
Busy on weekday mornings, Botanica + Co (Deli) is located at Bangsar South, in the midst of posh office buildings.
Many people get their coffee and breakfast to-go. However, I am blessed enough with a remote job that allows me to work from this cafe.
A little pricey, probably because it is situated among big corporations and working adults mostly visit the cafe.

I usually have a slice of cake butter cake (ranges from RM8-RM11). A few popular flavours: hazelnut coffee, vanilla and chocolate.
Their mini pastries are super worth the price! RM10 / USD 2.26 for 6 mini pastries. These packets are gone by mid-day!

These are the best cafes in Bangsar that I would recommend to anyone within a heartbeat! Taste tested by yours truly!
